Seal-Tex

The SEAL-TEX can be applied for emergency leakage repair when the piping is depressurized. The SEAL-TEX tape cannot be applied where a liquid flow can wash away the tape's resin. For repairs on pipings with an operating pressure higher than 2 bar, it is recommended to apply the GF-HD paste in advance on the damaged part or the hole.

If the hole allows it, in order to take out the leakage a small wooden (or other soft materials) wedge can be applied in the fissure or in the hole; any excess part should be removed.
It will then be possible to apply some GF-HD paste on the wedge, and, later, the SEAL-TEX tape.

Standard Applications
Maximum temperature: 150°C
Maximum pressure: 27 Bar
Special versions are available for applications up to 270°C and 100 Bar
